I agree. They have fight. If WBA had 10 more points I’d still fancy them to go down. As with Stoke they have no fighting will left. It’s all about the last place I think. I think So’ton probably, but even Newcastle could get drawn in. But Palace will survive (given my predicting prowess, that’s them consigned to Division 2 ).
Clubs seem to be complaining about how Wolves have brought players in using a super agent.. I am surprised this hasn't been picked up before by the media and other teams! https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/03/05/rivals-call-inquiry-jorge-mendes-role-wolves/ More sour grapes like they were with us and the Pozzo's loan usage or are Wolves gaining an unfair advantage?
Slavisa Jokanovic's Fulham beat Sheff.Utd. 3-0 last night and are now up to 4th in the table. They have taken 29 points from their 11 league games in 2018, and on that sort of form could easily finish in an automatic promotion place. It would be quite good to see Joka standing on the Watford touchline next season.
They talk about the lack of communication or trust between officials and the players - this might sum it up quite well! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43314870 Thankfully the Hemel captain (ex Hornet ) was on hand to make sure common sense was found and the red card got rescinded!
Either a good day for us in terms of results at the bottom or a bad day if you thought we had a chance of European football ! Sounds like there has been trouble at West Ham again..
Spectators got on to the field after all three of Burnley's goals, while Hammers co-chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan were hounded out of the directors' box. Apparently, the Burnley bench spotted some children that were caught up in the trouble and allowed the youngsters to shelter in their dugout. Trouble ahead for the Hammers.
Can anyone see WBA avoiding relegation? They are now 8 points away from safety, and must be almost down by now.
An interesting article that might be of great interest to our Canary friend. http://www.trainingground.guru/articles/norwich-issue-3.5m-academy-bond-with-vialli
I had heard of this on twitter but this is the first article I have seen giving all the information. Sounds good
I'm at a loss to explain this odd match, some very odd refereeing decisions, but ultimately we got what we deserved.
Just a warning - when he was our manager, he was given a budget by the board, but went way over it. I just hope Delia et al have more backbone than our owners at the time did.
I see Southampton have sacked their manager after sacking their previous manager for only finishing 6th or 7th last year where are all the howls of indignation from the so called experts on how to run a football club
And reaching a Cup final. Most of the media see/saw Southampton as a well run club who were pretty consistent and produced a lot of good players (who they often sold to Liverpool!) but it does seem they lacked that this season. Think the fans wanted Puel out last summer for being "boring but this does sometimes shows you have to be careful what you wish for - same with Stoke/West Brom. Maybe Silva will go there.!
