The billions keep rolling in for the Premier league with the new TV deal. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ort-premier-league-tv-rights?CMP=share_btn_tw
I see that Amazon are interested in some of the remaining packages. If they get some what will it do to the streams I can access? I thought the existing ones were picked up from those that were beamed into the sky, but I don't really know.
For about GBP10 a month I get a subscription to Bein Connect which shows all the Premier League matches live and then shows them all on demand for the rest of the week. I can't believe that that is only available in NZ. Having said that Bein outbid Sky and Sky customers have to pay more for the right to see Bein on Sky.
This really shows how football in England has attracted some dodgy owners. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/43055733
Weren't Pompey the ones "taken over" by somebody who didn't even exist! Goodness know what the FA use as their fit for purpose criteria.
I had a look at them a while back - they are only available in Middle East & North Africa, France, United States, Canada, Turkey, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Andorra, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, so I couldn't subscribe. It does seem comparatively cheap compared to the likes of Sky - US$25 per month for their Sports package.. Will be keeping this in mind for when we return to Oz...
Alex Mcleish back in the Scotland job.. Scots Orns happy about that? Did ok last time before jumping ship. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43079576
Disappointed that Jersey's Peter Vincenti was an unused sub for Dale yesterday. If he's involved in the replay, he'll be the first person from here to play at Wembley in the FA Cup since Graeme Le Saux.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43107860 And we complain about the refs here... Ten red cards and eight yellow cards in the one match...
Yes - and started by the keeper who chased after and hit the penalty taker. But strangely wasn't one of those sent off.
Well Wigan seem to have Man City's number when it comes to the cup. Not many keep them out! Well taken winner too.
I was disappointed with the poor refereeing, he was all set to show Delph a yellow, was surrounded by many Wigan players waving imaginary red cards and manhandling him and he changed it to a red.
