No - but after that 4th goal he will be having another rant about the ref !! EDIT: Actually very restrained and accepted the defeat saying Forest deserved to win. Maybe because he isn't that fussed? Really do have to wonder what has happened to Theo Walcott - the great bright hope all those years ago - now just simply a bench warmer getting the odd game here and there.
Is Hughes a shoe-in to replace Wenger this week? Maybe a direct swap with Wenger? You heard it here first.
I watched the Newport v Leeds game on BBC Wales with Iwan Roberts as co-commentator. They spoke to Eddie Gray at HT, who predicted 2-1 to Leeds, and to a degree he was right apart from the detail that Shaughnessy scored in the wrong net!
Credit to Bristol City so far - showing everyone how to play against Man C! Maybe the latter have been complacent and will turn it on in the 2nd leg but good to see such a competitive tie.
Chelsea: Premier League club investigate racism allegations - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42667178 A thoroughly nasty pair from the era when Chelsea were not a very nice club Sent from my G3121 using Tapatalk
I really hope not - if he comes across as a coach the way he does as a pundit, he'll bore the women: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42662677
Man City beaten at last - although Liverpool did their best to throw the game away. Could have done with Bournemouth not winning but then Arsenal are very weak once under pressure.
Great news Eddie Jones has agreed an extension of his contract until 2021. Jones said, "Coaching England is a dream job for me". Eddie Jones signs two-year contract extension with England, shelving plans to leave after World Cup
Think the ref forgot about VAR for a moment in the Chelsea v Norwich game - William booked for diving when he was fouled !
The Tv pundits were really unfair. The view from behind the ref (i.e. where was looking from) shows Willian going down before the defenders leg gets across willians. I think the ref was correct from that view, and indeed I think willian was 'looking for it'. i.e. falling before contact as made. (Equally, morata made no attempt to stay on his feet and fell like a baby who couldn't walk properly.) It might have seemed like the ref had it in for Chelski, but the fact is only their players went in for amateur dramatics.
Well apparently the VAR didn't have the right camera angle so quite understandably did not want to over rule the ref. As you say Chelsea had 3 players booked for diving so maybe they have a bad reputation? Soon we will have officials so scared to give any decisions without using VAR that games will go on for ever ! And depending on the outcome managers/players and fans will moan .. Take Doucourae's handball goal last week which I don't think was the blatant handball most seem to think it was - we'd be up in arms had that been chalked off!
Just watched the Hearts v Hibs Scottish Cup match - an exciting end-to-end match and surprisingly skillful. A somewhat lucky goal for ex 'Orn Don Cowie - given the pace of the match, I'm surprised he can still keep up at his age.
