Does this bring the long running battle any closer to an end? I suspect there will be more twists and turns to come. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...red-pay-shareholder-high-court-valeri-belokon
Going to the England game on Friday (free tickets..) At this rate I will be seeing the Under 21s! Wonder if half the German squad have pulled out?
I could be wrong, wouldn't be the last time! But this might be the beginning of the end for West Ham. Seems like a stupid appointment to me.
Where's that? ijjijiji Jokes aside, it is a danger mind, new manager syndrome and all. Moyes might have had a charisma injection recently.
Tough on the Irish - Swiss better side but to be undone like that is so frustrating. Very poor decision.
15 minutes gone and Honduras are still holding out against Australia in their WC qualifier home leg. The pitch looks like a cow paddock...
Went to the England game. Actually wasn't a bad display and match overall with some of the newer players impressing. Mind you we tend to do ok against the top sides in friendlies!
Ireland playing for the draw which is all very well but if Denmark score in the 2nd leg Eire would need two.
Carrillo ran around a lot against NZ and also regularly switched wings but both sides were fairly toothless in attack without their main strikers. It did liven up a bit at the end with a near miss apiece. Winston Reid was very good. Luckily he is unlikely to play against us next week.
Sounds like there was a penalty at Carlisle yesterday that was more unbelievable than the one in Belfast. There was a free-kick awarded to Carlisle for a foul in Yeovil's half, and the perpetrator was booked. Something happened off the ball which resulted in a Yeovil player getting sent off, and Carlisle were awarded a penalty, even though the ball was dead after the award of the free-kick. The assistant had spotted the incident off the ball, so the only logical explanation is that it happened before the foul. See for yourselves - it starts from about 0:28 but as the camera focused on the foul you don't see the sending-off incident:
I think on Channel 5 they showed the incident happen as the ball was being passed around before the free kick was given...
