This morning Karren Brady says she hopes Spurs win the league..

Now West Ham are 3/0 down.

Sure the Eastenders will have something to say!

EDIT: Spurs doing their best to throw it away.

    Sums up both teams really!

Rangers fans clearly don't cope well with defeat - especially when beaten by Celtic...

One day there will be a European Super league and we will all be left behind.

Reading through it the proposal is to pay the additional monies based on league position
So that rules out Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool
What would we say if we actually finished 5th or 6th
But I do agree, those clubs get all the big decisions so they don't need the big money as well

Doesn't finishing 5th or 6th bring its own financial reward through European competition though?

Looks like Chalobah's place in the England squad has been taken by Delph...well he did score last week for City I think.

    So quite understandable..

A colleague of mine who supports City wondered why Delph was in the England squad - not exactly an endorsement for Southgate.

Despite this news, I think it's a waste of time and we should (as much as I hate to say it) follow Guernsey's lead and form a team to take part in the English system. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41130338

I know we’ve got a lot of time for Dychey but the media have gone crazy about him the last couple of days because he’s taken Burnley to joint 6th on 12 points with a couple of other teams...

Bearing in mind the lack of resources he has at his disposal at Burnley he's done a wonderfull job there and is probably the best English manager. I imagine this is the reason why the media have taken to him so much........could he be a future England manager ?

Perhaps BB knows whether there is any truth in the rumour that Liberal govt in Australia is insisting that the second leg of the World Cup tie against Syria has to be played in Nauru.

Probably true - but it should advantage Syria as it will be just like a home game for them...

    England through to Russia 2018.

Typically tepid performance saved by Kane who we really need to stay fit.

Him and Rashford only real attacking threat.

It was a game that if you took somebody to to try to get them into the sport, they´d never ever want to hear about football again.

We´ve got no chance in Russia, the sooner everyone, including the media, realise that the better.

    It was ****e today.

Thank goodness Sterling was taken off, he would never have crossed the ball to Kane, am I the only one who thinks he (Sterling) should never be in our national team?

Sterling seems a totally different player when playing for England compared to Man City - then again he has world class talent alongside him.

Even Kane didn't have the same threat he does for Spurs..

Been to the last 2 games (free tickets it has to be said!) and only seen about 5 shots on target overall against technical but limited sides.

Meanwhile looks like Argentina and Chile have a real fight to qualify...

Of course so long as we have the "best league in the world" pouring in billions the Premier league and its clubs aren't going to care about England very much and its future..

FA are fighting a losing battle really - not helped by messing up the appointment of the England manager each time!

maybe one of the best leagues but our national game has clearly suffered IMO with all the foreign players imported as the finished article... little space for developing our own...

England. Was very disappointed must admit. So many square and backward passes. We'd be deep in their half and without them touching the ball it would find its way back to Hart to hoof it up field. And why did they find it so difficult to get the ball in their box???

Can't take much heart from the fact Slovenia did a very good job. A solid plan and with a little bit of luck it could have worked. Reckon it will be very tough for Scotland as a draw is no good.

    Any way c'mon Wales <cheers>

ps I heard someone say that the English don't like the other home nations and take the p***. Well I always support NI and Wales and find the abuse from Scottish fans towards England incredibly moronic. Maybe I'm out of touch and it is a young generation thing :emoticon-0105-wink:

I'm glad you added the quotation marks. The available evidence totally refutes that - average attendances, European success etc.
