End of an era on the BBC commentary wise although he was probably getting less and less games anyway. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41159991
Looks like clubs will agree to close the transfer window earlier before the season starts. All very well so long as they are prepared to lose players to overseas clubs/have players linked to them without being able to replace them.
https://www.vavel.com/en/football/p...ct-leicester-citys-adrien-silva-transfer.html Foxes application to register the transfer of a new player rejected as it was received 14 seconds late. Seems a bit harsh.
Imagine being a Liverpool fan and thinking "Oh good, they're taking Jesus off - oh sh*t here comes Sane to replace him."
Oh dear - last thing De Boer needed was one of his own players playing the perfect through ball for Wood!
No surprise here! http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41219627 Roy Hodgson favourite for the job though..
I watched MOD last night and on any normal day Palace could have scored four or five goals. If that had happened he would still be in a job this morning.
All very true but they have Southampton (and they have only lost to a top 4 side) Huddersfield who is not being bossed about by anyone then two easier games away to the man clubs so its poss they could be with out points or may have 1 or 2 after 8 games
An astonishingly blinkered report. The analysis of 'shortest time managers spent in the job' seems to think football was invented in 2000. Even so we must have or be. Lose to the record for shortest time spent in management. Anyway Clough at Leeds will always be up there .
Hodgson's appointment will bring the number of managers they've had since 2012 to 13. I wonder how long it will take the media to cotton onto the fact they're way ahead of us?
