Sad to hear about Martin Ling also, albeit nothing like as tragic as Srnicek. Depression is a terrible thing which many people will not understand, but which can be just as debilitating as a physical disorder. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35194340
Norwich spending 8 million on Steven Naismith - a solid Premier league player but a big gamble maybe given the fee? Worth the risk if Norwich stay up of course.
I'm happy with this deal, he is a quality Premiership player that wants to come and is a definite upgrade on what we have!
Watching Leicester v Man City and can clearly hear what the 'clackers' bring to the atmosphere. People I know who go to the King Power say young and old join in for a good chunk of the game. Maybe there's something in it. Just wondering why other clubs haven't done it and should we consider them at the Vic? Think the cost is something like 30p a clacker so would cost £6000 per game.
Guy who sits next to me at the Vic works for the company that makes them, so I assume they are made in (or very near to) Watford.
"We're not in a position where we can spend millions blowing everyone out of the water, where we can go out and offer people £100,000 a week. "We're sat on the top table but we feed off the crumbs. You have to understand that. You have to wait for those crumbs to drop off the table and that hopefully you're in the right place at the right time to pick them up. And that doesn't happen at the start of a meal. That usually happens at the end of the meal." Tony Pulis saying WBA will have to wait to get players, and then only if they can sell some.
I watched the Chelsea v Palace game - if Jose was he'd probably be wondering why the Chelsea players hadn't turned up before when he was manager.
I watched Everton v Spurs and it was not very good. Passes going astray all the time. 1st half belonged to Spurs, 2nd half to Everton. Probably the right result, but it does mean that both sides lost two points they can never get back. Shame.
