Cannot even blame the doctors today... Mind you we might be at the end of a hammering in a couple of weeks?
Forgot to add that my visit to Eastleigh Borough on Saturday reminded me that the manager Richard Hill was Graham Taylor's last signing for Watford, making just 4 appearances in 1987. He was then sold, making the club a profit of £2000 before retiring early with a bad knee injury.
Bournemouth undone by the officials - oh well its time they understood they won't be favoured in this league. How comes somebody like Gary Monk doesn't get the same lavish praise for getting Swansea into the top 8 in basically his first season as a manager in the "best league in the world"?
I think he would've got more praise if Southampton hadn't had such a good season, but I think as a young English manager he should've received more praise. I wonder if the FA are going to keep a close eye on how his career progresses.
Happy as I am to indulge in the collective schadenfreude it is a real worry for upcoming games - we know we're going to be on the end of some equally execrable decisions.
I hear nice guy Eddie is going to speak to the officials about yesterday's decisions.... bon chance matey.
Craig Makail-Smith scored one goal for Luton Town today. Not so many years ago we were chasing him for the team. Our paths have gone in different directions after then.
