My bro in law has to meet him regularly for business..... says he is a complete tosser....lard..... gross.... rude... ruthless....no manners...and he doesn't honour contracts . etc etc
Congratulations to what is now my local team Barney. And respect to Bristol Rivers who had over 11000 fans yesterday. Hope they win the play offs.
Makes perfect sense to me. Given Blackpool's demise and the fact that they gained nothing a points deduction would serve no purpose and would be a double punishment. Rotherham can be seen to have gained from fielding the player so it makes logical sense that they have the three points taken away from them. I don't think this is just a clerical error. Even if it is, if they're not properly punished then everyone will be trying it if they're desperate enough. Maybe Utd saw the fine only and took the chance. Who knows? The deterrent is necessary.
Agreed. Consistency is one thing but every case needs to be judged on its own merits and in this instance I think both rulings were fair.
I am sad that we may pass Sean Dyche as Burnley fall to the Cahmpionship. On the other hand I am not sad to pass Harry Redknapps latest money spending exercise, even if he ran away before the fall.
I have my doubts that it would withstand a legal challenge if indeed the offences were the same. What next - take 10 points from a side who are 11 points clear of relegation. The principle has to be the same and if giving Blackpool a 3 points deduction would not have made any difference then why not give it anyway if you feel the offence worthy of it.
Well apart from Zero hours contracts. Was an interesting documentary, but the most noticeable thing about it was a complete lack of response or quotes from Ashley, just a few old still photographs of him.
Or to back up - "These people are clearly not fans and there is no place for them at Burnley Football Club, stormed the football club's chief executive Lee Hoos."
One of those towns, grounds and fans still in the dark ages of violence and hooliganism. Sorry Sean Dyche but I speak as I find.

Chelsea said tickets for their match at St James' Park were between £40-50. Points deduction didn't matter then - infact probably motivated Rotherham even more to get them over the line
