I would like to know which team has had the most penalty kicks given to them in one season. The only thing I find is Crystal Palace had 15 in one season in the Premier League and Francis Lee scored 13 penalties in one season. Bournemouth must be very close to a record of that or the most opposition players sent off.
I'm no statistician but surely some club has to have the most penalties and red cards in a season? It doesn't necessarily mean they weren't entitled to both!
Very true but it seems an extraordinary amount - the red cards work out at 1 every 4 games. I will admit sour grapes though!
calum wilson will be involved with most of the red cards and the penalty's he is so fast and goes over very easy but hes not the only one ? but once they go up to the epl they will not get any reds or penalty . THe ref s know what there doing LOL Mr wilson will be told that hes not playing for man utd so dont try for ether

So Mr Redknapp has admitted he actually quit QPR because "people weren't on his side" The accountants/bank manager maybe?
Not sure if this is the right place to bring this up . We hear that 6th place is the best in the play offs .Its not true here are the results last 10 years 3rd place = 50% promotion 4th '' = 10% '' 5th '' = 20 % '' 6th '' = 20 % '' last 23 years 3rd place = 39% 4th place = 13% 5th place = 26 % 6th place = 22 % so message to our mate dave we will let you have 3 rd place we will take 2 ond that leaves midd 4th LOL
With our record against the other top 8 clubs I do not fancy us in the play offs. Norwich would do much better so come on Dave and step up for that.
It's not all that bad really. My tips for the other three play-off spots are Boro, Ipswich and Brentford. Three wins, a draw and two defeats against that lot...
Yes - but if it is Wolves or Derby instead of Brentford that falls to one win, two draws and three defeats. However our away record is good against all those other play off team except Ipswich and although we suffered 3 defeats at home I think each was exceptional and in a play off I would expect us to do better. Also in recent years we have bettered Ipswich mostly so we are due to re-establish that. I am convinced - the play off are not without hope.
yes but we will not have guedioura im not sure but i think our record with him is much better than with out him
2 years ago we played Palace who drew and lost to us in the regular season. So much for a poor record against fellow play-off teams. We start again in the possible disappointment of the playoffs.
At the start of the season I would have been delighted with a play off place. They're horrible but we have as good a chance as anyone.
Anyone know what the odds were against us the day we appointed our fourth manager of the season - pretty high I would guess
Dread to think what Hollowhead would make of the loan "rules" in Spain - in the Cordoba v Elche match on SS5, Cordoba have 8 loan players in the starting 11!
In 05/06 we lost both league games against Palarse and against Leeds we lost one and drew one. And we know what happened in the play-offs that season
He would think its fine as long as he was the manager of Cordoba He was always just trying to play mind games most manages do it.
if we go into our last game needing to win by a larger margin than Norwich or for the other 2 two drop points and we win but still dont go up then yes the play-offs could Be fine but if WE blow it in the last game by not winning then no i dont think the play-offs would be good, its about momentum .
