Will this soap opera never end. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ssimo-Cellino-talks-Red-Bull-possible-buy-out. Cellino has been stalling on buying back the ground and still could fail the FL FPP tests. Maybe he doesn't have the money he is reported to have, or thinks this a chance to make a quick buck.
Given both Bournemouth and Brentford's recent results (the Bees are currently winning 2-0 at Forest), maybe our results against them weren't too bad........
Howe is a very solid manager, I think. They are not as good on paper as he has them playing. Very well organised and motivated. I like him. Watford supporter too, I believe.
Maybe one day he'll be tempted to take over his boyhood club! BTW The claim that the Premier league is the "best in the world" must be under threat ATM with the European results for "our" teams.
Some changes to the FFP system albeit not to be enforced straight away. http://www.football-league.co.uk/ne...hip-financial-fair-play-rules-rg-2066799.aspx Slightly bigger losses allowed, and it is to be moved over a three year period rather than year-to-year. Talk of Parachute Payments being reduced from four to three years in order to fit better around. Embargoes/fines will go as planned for the next three seasons.
You have to feel sorry for the genuine Leeds fans! Where next? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29953640
I feel as much sympathy for Leeds as I do for our friends up the motorway. Precisely none. I still remember walking back to the station from the Millennium Stadium in 2006 thinking how "graciously" the Leeds fans had accepted their thrashing that day.
I agree they have more than their fair share of mindless idiots, but they must have some genuine fans too!
You are right Dave, Leeds do indeed have plenty of genuine fans, I have met many. Problem is they all support Leeds Rhinos not Utd.........
Hardly surprising really - the Weeds fan who visit here regularly are all little more than wind-up merchants....
Maybe it was taken down because of this. "In a statement issued last night, the club said: “The club has today (Friday November 7) received a winding-up petition from solicitors’ firm Ford & Warren acting on behalf of their client Mr. Melvyn Levi. “We have been advised by legal counsel that the publication of the winding-up order to the media within seven days of its service is illegal and amounts to an abuse of process and a contempt of court."
