Not a lot - it says far more about Scottish football finances (not to mention family finances in Scotland) IMO. Hamilton in particular have had a rough couple of decades financially - it's not that long ago that they couldn't pay their players, couldn't fulfil their fixtures, were docked 15 points & relegated to the bottom division. They have done remarkably well to come back from that to where they are now, with a new stadium (which unfortunately only holds around 6000 - no too bad for a town of 48000, I suppose). I watched it on the box - it was quite an entertaining game actually, fast paced, end-to-end stuff with a fair degree of skill on show. Hamilton's strengths are their fitness and organisation - they press the opposition all over the field for virtually the whole game.
From the BBC - "The Black cats have now lost 8-0 on four occasions in their history, with the other losses by the same margin against Sheffield Wednesday in 1911, West Ham United in 1968 and Watford in 1982." Hah!!
You're right there Fez - it so easily could have been double figures. John Barnes, of all people, hit the woodwork four times - and the MoM, if my memory serves me well, was the Sunderland goalkeeper who pulled off some stunning saves.... That was the last match of a short stay before I jetted off back to Oz - boarded the plane on Cloud 9 instead of Heathrow.
I see Michael Oliver's judgment as to what constitutes a penalty hasn't improved much over the last 18 months
Lee Clark sacked by Brum. They have won only one home game in the Championship since 1 October 2013 - that is 24 games and counting. Sure we would have wanted him out earlier with that record.
there was a chant on sat after it was 0-3 of "Your getting sacked in the morning" which manager ? lol
Former Watford goalkeeper David James is now managing and playing with Kerala Blasters of Kochi in the Indian Super League. It is only for 10 weeks so better for him than playing for ÃBV of Vestmannaejyar. We know that we will not suffer from Michael Chopra this season as he it with Kerala Blasters also.
If nothing is done to Forest and a few others, then it will completely unfair on those who did play by the rules. http://www.nottinghampost.com/Nottn...ary-transfer/story-23408267-detail/story.html
