Took a proper kicking off a bunch of skins in Soton once too. Worst thing was, I knew who they were, but never ever bumped into one of them on his own after that night.

Those Teds were utter ****s though, it's true. We were kids, they were men.

On both occasions, my mates scarpered and left me to it, then told me stories afterwards about how they lamped this guy or that before running off to get help. Which never ****ing materialised...
