    A team might of missed out on other targets? So they have to cough up the extra for him to get their player.

    With that being said I hope he stays.

    they're talking monkey crap.
    it doesn't make commerical sense to have such a follow on clause.
    Fat Mike likes things simple so it will have been one clause only.

    Pards himself referred to it in the singular and hinted strongly that, after today he will know if Demba is staying.
    There is one way to find out for sure though.....

    the only way it made any sort of business sense would be if it was relegation tied, then we would be doing better than the common 'relegation release clause' which allowed us to get him in the first place. such a clause probably sealed the deal considering our recent past.
