I forgot you had O'Dea, I'm alot more confident of an Ipswich win now. :)

Ipswich are like a wounded animal after the 7-1 mauling. A couple of quick goals with our speedy wingers should make their heads go down...... Get mad and get another couple of red cards... then game on!

    Yay! Leeds!

    Yay! D'urso!

A fun day out for all the family... Oh yes, Hawkings has awoken from his drubbing-induced coma.

Likewise, I forgot you have Darren O'dea

So can Leeds score 3 ? as that's what you guys will need to score for the win with that absolute donkey in defence !

Perhaps ours isn't as bad as I thought, O'dea was horrific

Actually O'Dea's not been bad at all at CB. Maybe he steps his game up when playing for a big club? ;)

To answer your question Westlake33, if you defend like you id against Peterborough we will score at least 3.

I'll go for 4-1 Leeds, Snoddy, McCormack x 2 and Howson.

O'dea has not been bad for us but then again we had to put up with Bruce and Collins in the CB spots last year so we should be happy!

we have Tom Lees and Aidy white supporting our CB's and are fast enough to cover if the CB's make a mistake!

O'Dear is deffo a massive weak link but the fact that Durso is ref will even things up, saying that i think we have a decent record against Leeds so i'm going for a Town win!!

Not a clue who will win tomorrow. As if it wasn't hard enough to predict with all our new signings, throwing Durso into the equation throws all bets out the window!

Sonko will make a huge improvement to our defence but even so it will only be improved from hopeless to average. Bullard is probably not fit enough to start and Bowyer is out, I think. Therefore we will either go for it with JET and Carson on the wings and Murphy and Chops up front or we'll go 433 with Kennedy, Leadbitter and Andrews in midfield, JET and Murphy as wingers and Chops up front. Neither option fills me with too much confidence.

    svendust,

Whos gonna be marking Gradel Howson or Snoddy?
I think you would have more chance playing JET up front because he will definately be able to knock the ball to Chopra as our CB's arnt very good in the air! but try and take it round our defence i think u dont have much chance. I still cant believe you paid a million for JET he is awful

I am sure something similar was being said after losing to Southampton 5-2 at home just days earlier.
Maybe they did try to put things right but failed in spectacular style, could be more of the same this week but I would not be surprised if Ipswich got at least 1 point out of this game

Pretty sure it was closer to two million actually!

When he's in the mood and the team are playing with confidence he looks like he could take anyone on and has real quality in his shot / passing but when we're struggling or he's played in his less favoured position on the wing he goes missing and despite being ten foot tall he's not great in the air, can barely jump. Bit of a Taraabt character.

Bit worried about the players you've mentioned, we've shown in the last few games we can't cope with midfielders with clever movement, however Sonko will make a difference and I don't think our midfield will make the same mistakes not tracking runners.

Our defence this year seems pretty good at stopping play along the ground. All 4 goals against us since the Hull game has come from crosses into the box, 2 of which were OGs and one a corner. O'Dea seems a solid, dependable CB who seems to have a decent relationship with Paddy and Lonners and along with those two is a good, calming influence on our two youngsters at FB. He's nothing special but he's no Alex Bruce or Neill Collins.
