So the final results are now in.

@Darren Peacock's Ponytail wins the final round with two correct score predictions and one perfect result from the Newcastle game allowing him to amass 52 points. He also wins the final month award, with 90pts, beating @Agent Bruce by 1pt and @Sammy's Silky Skills by 12pts.

But the Winner of this years Competition with a total of 619 pts and a winning margin of 44pts is:

2nd Place goes to @InBiscanWeTrust with 575points. Like his team Liverpool, he hung on right to the end but, in the final tally, was simply not good enough.

3rd place goes to @Ben 10 with 533 points who successfully held off the challenge of @cronemeister (4th, 523pts) and @Hung,Drawn and Quartered (5th, 522 pts)

I wouldn't feel particularly good about beating me - everyone but Ginge and Munse did. This was my equivalent of Sunderland's last championship season.
