I could be very wrong but I feel like a few wins and good performances under JJ's belt is probably more important than a slightly better draft pick. He did pretty well, and bounced back after an early interception, which tbf was tipped at the line of scrimmage rather than a terrible pass, so not as bad as previous interceptions.

Though Will the thrill is definitely the best player on the team this season imo
Winning out instead of losing out will cost us a top 7 pick and will likely be mid teens instead. That's a big difference. Even if we didn't need a pick that high we could have traded it for a first round and a second round pick.

Out of interest, it would be fun to see what would happen if we offered the Bengals McCarthy, Turner and muliple first round picks for Burrow. It probably has a less than 1% chance of happening but even with McCarthy's improvements, he's still not on the same page as Jefferson and that isn't good. If Burrow was open to the idea of being traded (which is still a big if) then we should ask the question. Cinci would never trade him to an AFC team so you would look at the NFC teams who could look to upgrade at QB and Vikings would be in that mix.

Burrow would probably just retire if that happened, which would be very Vikings. Not sure where this stuff is coming from that he wants out of Cinci, seems like they’ve done everything they can to keep him happy (extending all the people he was moaning about potentially losing and giving him a huge contract)

Only thing I’ve seen is he wants to play with Jefferson again like in college, but Chase was also at LSU at that time so seems far easier to just ask the Bengals to try and trade for JJ than force his way out. Is just a BS rumour I think which I don’t think the Vikings would do anyway, would be Herschel Walker all over again (google it if you don’t already know about the worst trade in history, and of course it was the Vikings who got ****ed hey it)

Hoping for another good performance by JJ, though I'm sure saintmagic will be praying for a loss. I wouldn't mind that if it's a good performance, but I'd still prefer a win!

Also hoping for an Aaron Jones masterclass to help me in my fantasy playoffs.

Can't get too excited over this win. Being out of playoff contention, my main interest was see JJ progress and maybe get another win to gain some more confidence and experience, but given the injury, it seems kinda meaningless. Glad Max got to experience a win at least

We looked fairly decent in the first half up until the sack, aside from Addison's inability to catch. We should have just kneeled and gone in to the half 13-3 up, and then the second half would have probably continued the same vein, potentially leading to a decent scoreline.

It was shambolic from both offences though, Vikings quarterback Max Brosmer's first home start saw him sacked seven times and pass for just 51 yards yet still win - no other quarterback in the Super Bowl era has managed to win a game with those stats.

Wooo! Go Vikings! Absolute experts at winning **** bowls which mean nothing apart from ****ing up the future of the franchise
