And the NYG Daniel Jones is back.
Missed an open goal on this one, his new name is Indiana Jones

Lions fans were so cocky in the build up I'm going to enjoy reading their forum tomorrow.Always nice to hear a division rival even if it makes very little difference to this season.
Good to see McCarthy doing well too as that is all I’m really interested in for the rest of the year and seeing if he looks like he has what it takes to be a franchise QB
Sauce Gardner traded to the Colts!

You paid a King's ransom for him, plus his salary which is substantial after his extension. But fair play for going for it.
Colts secondary looking very nice now:
CB: Sauce Gardner
CB: Charvarius Ward
CB: Kenny Moore
CB: Jaylon Jones
FS: Cam Bynum
SS: Nick Cross
It's a steep price for sure, but he's a genuinely top-tier difference maker. And as big contracts go, it's about as team-friendly as can beYou paid a King's ransom for him, plus his salary which is substantial after his extension. But fair play for going for it.
The issue you have now is you have a lot of pieces in play for a Super Bowl run. Apart from one position - the most important one: QB. I don't think Jones is good enough to get you past a Mahomes led Chiefs, or an Allen led Bills, or a Jackson led Ravens. You need a franchise QB and Jones isn't it IMO and Richardson is a complete bust. You can't draft one anytime soon as you've traded away your first rounders for the next two drafts so you either have to trade for one or sign one in FA.It's a steep price for sure, but he's a genuinely top-tier difference maker. Only a $9.5m cap hit next season and then $20m and rising from 2027. I saw that he's performed as a top four cornerback since coming into the league in 2022 and is the 18th best paid cornerback. I feel pretty good about it given how much better the Colts have been drafting in rounds 2-4 compared to round 1, especially given that those two picks should be at the back end of the first round
