Browns have clearly learned their lesson from the Watson debacle.

Not sure, they took a QB in the third round who now will probably be released so a complete waste of a pretty premium pick. They gave up a 5th for Kenny Pickett and have Joe Flacco as well, and of course Watson even if he doesn’t play this year is being paid too much to release.

Don’t really understand what they were doing, should’ve just taken Sanders in the third and then used the rest of the draft for other positions.

Probably the best landing spot for Sanders at this point as he has a good chance of being the starter there. But he’s lost out on a lot of money going in the fifth (would’ve earnt more money staying in college for sure) and he has to go and play for Cleveland which must be ****ing uninspiring by itself

Not sure you noticed the sarcasm in my post. :)

Pretty different scenarios! Sanders just seems like a spoiled kid who has never had to really work for anything. Doesn’t mean he might not have it in him (his dad is known as one of the biggest competitors in NFL history).

Watson had multiple lawsuits against him when they decided to trade for him. His on field performances haven’t been the same for about 5 years, and it’s likely his career is basically over at this point. Paying him mental money was a mistake solely for the off field stuff, let alone the huge drop off in performances

Oh I know. It's just there's no smoke without fire and they're taking another gamble which could again come back to bite them. Admittedly while he's on a rookie contract the risk is a lot smaller.

Well if the top 30 visit thing continues then the Vikings are going to take Breshard Smith or Jacorey Croskey-Merritt when they pick in 10 mins time

Picks 201 and 202.

Yeah just saw. Running back and tight end are my guess for positions. Running back will be one of the two names I mentioned (provided they are still there), not sure on tight end. Maybe Ben Yurosek if the top 30 thing continues

Should be able to get good value for a RB even this late in the draft. One pick should definitely go on a RB. The other likely a TE as you say.

Hmm. Surprised they didn’t go running back at all in what is considered the best/deepest class in 30 years. I think I read they can sign about 20 UDFAs because their roster isn’t close to the 90 allowed atm, so will be interesting to see how many running backs end up undrafted

I heard a rumour it might be back-to-back Vikings in UK and Ireland. Which would be interesting
I've got my accomodation arranged for the weekend of 27th-28th September. I don't have to pay anything until the week before and I can cancel for free up until 24th so not losing anything by reserving now. It will probably end up being the Packers now!

For some unknown reason they have managed to build a bit of a fanbase in the UK on the back of the Wembley games (not just Tom and Lapras). They are one of the smaller market teams in the US so maybe they/the NFL are looking to capitalise on the growing fanbase/Jefferson being one of the faces of the NFL.

I’ll be there with a doomsday banner warning everyone about not following them
