So Smith back for one more year. Way past his prime now but still decent enough

Talk about Rodgers and Kupp signing, think Kupp might be a possibility but think Rodgers unlikely. Would create too much of a media circus and he isn’t going to be backup to McCarthy who it looks like they are all in. Wouldn’t be the best environment for a young essentially rookie QB to be in with every mistake people saying “well they have Rodgers” etc

Also talk they are trading Addison for Sauce Gardner. Loads of bullshit floats around this time of year but if there is a slight chance this happens then they should be going all for it. Even their first this year and Addison would be a good deal

If Rodgers signs he will be QB1 and JJ will sit and learn for another year, like Love did.

Yeah and I don’t think the Vikings want to do that. Someone like Minshew as backup makes much more sense

Would love it if the Gardner rumours are true. As much as I rate Addison and think he’d be WR1 at probably half the teams in the NFL, corners like Gardner are much harder to find than receiver

Interestingly Gardner did post on social media that he thought Rodgers would top all QB stats if he signed for the Vikings....
 
The Texans traded for Ed Ingram <laugh>. Up there with one of the worst lineman I’ve seen since I started following the Vikings
 
FA WR Rondale Moore visiting the Vikings. Hasn't done much but only 24 so could be a good WR3 option.
 
Sounds like Bradbury is getting cut, can’t see anyone trading for him, but then I would’ve said the same about Ingram

Yeah I’m no cap expert but seems like the free agency deals are structured in a way that’s good for this season, but could be a problem down the line. Especially as every signing they’ve made has question marks
 
TBF from Rodgers' POV you can see why he would prefer the Vikings. They give him the best option of playoff football and potentially more.

It would be like Nugent signing for Saints back in the day. It could happen but I don’t want it to. Would only work on a one year deal
