Chiefs Eagles Super Bowl then, pretty predictable as soon as the Lions lost

Hopefully the Chiefs threepeat

KOC named (quite rightly IMO) coach of the year. Lions fans are screaming an injustice but Vikings were projected to win 6 games and they actually won 14 and were 1 game away from the number 1 seed.

So the Steelers will be playing in Dublin in 2025. Vikings have a road game scheduled against them....

What books/videos etc. do people recommend for those looking to get started with the NFL?

I'm after stuff that'll explain the game well to me and my kids (7 & 11).

I learnt from just watching games. The basic rules are quite straightforward but it does get quite complicated after that.

I’d expect there is stuff on YouTube that might be helpful, but yeah if you just sit and watch a game I think you’d pick up enough to know what’s going on quite quickly.

Thanks. Next trick is finding the time to watch a game without getting interrupted by wife, kids or dog. I feel a cold coming on.

Good trade for the Commanders. Maybe this season just gone won’t be an anomaly. Getting Deebo Samuel for a 5th round pick

Vikings not using the franchise tag on Darnold - good, 40mill is too much and can use that more effectively in the free agent market.

The talk was they would tag him and then trade him so they get something for him. How that would’ve worked against the cap I don’t know as I assume there would be some penalty for trading a player who is under contract.

Free agency starts in a week and should be interesting from a Vikings perspective, lot of money to play with and a very depleted team. Expect a lot of movement in the secondary and in the interior O line. Probably a running back as well. The reports I’ve read said that re-signing Murphy is a big priority so wouldn’t be surprised if he got some ridiculous contract so that he stays.

All the noise says that this a good defensive tackle draft so think that’s where they are going with their first rounder so wouldn’t expect a big splash in that area in free agency.
