It's time to start getting points on the board. No one can deny that, even Superman.
Is Cardiff and the Hammers a must win? Not sure it's a must win, but I can tell you one thing, if we walk out of Carrow road with 2 points or less from those games things will not be looking good for CH or NCFC Especially if he spouts out the same "we are getting in the right areas, so we should score" stuff, I'm getting a bit sick of hearing it.

We've got to go out there and start winning some games, as fans we should not tolerate anything but a 100% from every player who go's out in the shirt, they know how important it is to us and they can't go out there half hearted, our survival is dependant on this. Also I don't want to read any sob sob stories in Archant newspapers or any promises, they need to let the football do the talking.
In defence to the players we have improved greatly and played two in form teams so long as we go out there and play well and cut out the sloppy passing, sort out the deliveries, remain sharp at the back and spot free players in the box we'll be fine.

If City can play against Cardiff and West Ham like they did against Saints and Stoke they should be fine. Howson and Fer created much more up the middle against Arsenal and Tettey sweeping up gives them the freedom to go forward. Build on this and the strikers will get the service they need. the Cardiff game will tell us much more though.
I have been one of the people most critical of CH, especially for the second half of last season. But I can't see what has been wrong with most of the performances this year (Hull and Spurs excepted, and a lesser extent, Villa). I have always said I don't mind going down, but not going down playing the kind of dire football we served up for the second half of last season. There has been a definited improvement in my opinion.
I'm not saying everything is rosy this season. The lack of goals (and clear chances) is very worrying. But we have stopped hoofing it into the penalty area at every opportunity, we have stopped playing to get free kicks and then lumping them into the box, and we are much more fluid in our movement. We seem to be changing our style, personally I am very glad about that, but changing style takes time.

Palace are clearly out of their depth, and Sunderland may get too far off the pace if they don't pick up some points soon, but that third spot could go to a half-decent team. Whilst I like what CH is trying to do with the team, I'm certainly not in the 'CH Out' camp - who is available to replace him???? As vc says the style of football is evolving and it will take time for the taem to adapt, but there are signs of change. We have been unlucky in having played some of the top teams so early in the season, but we have to pick up some serious points in the remaining matches this year - I would like us to have another 10 points by the time we get to Xmas!!!

I think we need six points from those five games.After the thirteen are played we will still have played an imbalance of top teams as opposition.In terms of the current table there will only be Liverpool and Man U that we have not played in the top half so if we are on a point per game that will be ok.

i see what you are saying - by staying on a point a game it keeps us in touch with the imaginary 'survival line', but if you look at those fixtures i think we should expect more than 6 points. there's definitely 7-9 points which are very realistic.
neil adams?! jeez. do i nail this suggestion with the contempt it completely deserves or do i allow you the chance to reason why?
go on then - tell me why neil adams is a better manager than chris hughton or any other manager who we could bring in for that matter. i'll explain with substance why its such an atrocious suggestion.
neil adams has got NO experience of managing a league team, let alone a premier league team. managing a youth team is not the same. yes his side won the fa youth cup last season, and brilliant though it was it was done by playing a very similar style to what hughton is developing at norwich. do you know why? its because chris hughton has a huge say in how the youth sides are set up. this was stated by ricky martin at a recent fans forum. neil adams has been encouraged to play that way by our manager! how do they play? a cohesive, defensive setup with quick counter-attacking players, one up front in a 4-2-3-1 system. the major difference between them and the first team is that they have more talented players than their opponents in many games - our first team do not. by what reckoning is neil adams even in contention? is it because he is ex-norwich? is it because of that cup win? had we lost to chelsea in the final last season, would he have been mentioned? if ever there was a 'little norwich' mentality, its being shown by anyone who thinks neil adams should be our first team manager.
I would like to think that we might get 9 from the home games and possibly a point away,but looking at the minimum to stay clear of the bottom three.If you don't think that will be enough take a look at Stoke's next five

absolutely right (the bit in bold). but when he says 'we are getting better in the right areas' he is absolutely right as well, so why are you so 'sick' of hearing it? surely if he said we are 'miles off getting it right' that would be worthy of complaint. did you expect us to get points from our last two games? the game before against stoke, a game most people saw as a difficult one based on the way stoke were playing, our current away record and our record at the britannia, we played well and won pretty comfortably. we've just played well in two difficult matches, so he's being honest and saying it how it is. the real test is next six games (as i said in the opening para). we do need to start sticking three points on the board but we now have a side which is playing well. we didn't before when we lost a few early doors. if we struggle in the coming six games then any concerns will be justified. also, it is very obvious that the shift in style is to accommodate the new strikers styles. unfortunately it hasn't quite come off yet but against weaker opposition, we stand a better chance. we have NOT been trying to get to the byline. perhaps if we had done we would have scored more, ironically!

i thought i did a good job, under the circumstances! unfortunately, kickitoff is EXACTLY the kind of fan who drags our club down - one with an agenda. it's idiotic, sure, damaging even - but when someone has an agenda, no matter how things change or adapt, they will just keep on moving the goal posts, as is now the case with the fans who said 'i would rather lose every week playing well, playing good, passing football than grind out boring draws every week'. now, all of a sudden, its 'all about the results'. funny that...I think you've 'hit the nail on the head' with that comment supers. Once we do get used to playing to RvW's and Hooper's strengths, we'll see them start to score goals. I think we've been unlucky in that the last 2 games, we have come up against teams who have quality all across the pitch.
the frustrating thing is, i think we were just about to see it click after the stoke game, but then we faced chelsea and arsenal, rvw got an injury, so we were a little unlucky in that respect - but it is coming. hooper showed how clinical he is at watford in the cup. rvw is a class act. i have no worries over either player but there's little doubt the service to them needs to be improved on what we've seen so far

I haven't felt this disillusioned in ages. Whether we have premier league players or a manager is up for debate. What isn't is that we have some of the highest grade premier league knobs claiming to support us. We are in the national media accused of racially abusing our manager. I'm ****ing sick of it.

All the signs are there that City have improved greatly in the last few weeks. It just needs that little extra feeding the striker/s and I would expect us to be off and running. The midfield trio have been immense lately. It seems hard to realise that Brad was third in pots just six months ago and now he can't get a game.
