I've read about mass suicides that are more positive than this board.
There's way more pessimistic boards around than this one mate, believe me.

I agree in part. A ludicrous thing for him to do but perhaps he was over-aroused for his first game, trying to do everything and maybe even irked slightly that he was overlooked for Leicester (his quote on signing suggests he thought he'd be playing for the 1st team that day) and playing in the ressies. All in all, a piece of stupidity that can be explained and forgiven, if not justified.
I'd rather he got sent off than injured! Dick will have roasted him and I'm certain he'll feel like a right nonce for it and be eager to put it right.
Cest his previous disciplinary record on the field should show we haven't got a complete nutteron our hands
Yeah mateSo for nutting somebody, you are certain he's going to be feeling like he has a sexual interest in children?
There were at least 2. I'm just making the point that fans of the smaller clubs seem to have this persecution complex and idea that the Man United's and CHelsea's of the world get all the favour from the FA. I doubt we'll read anything in the next few days about how the FA are biased to SUnderland for not carrying over a suspension for a headbutt? It's not just Sunderland mind, Newcastle fans and most other clubs fans are just as guilty. I think people come across as precious little girls when they start up with the persecution complex ****e![]()
Point taken, I was a bit too choice with words. Fair enoughI more or less agree with you on that point. In my opinion big clubs do sometimes get the rub of the green but it's nowhere near as often / drastic as some like to believe. But that's all it is, my opinion. If others have a different one fair play to them, I don't see why that should result in them being called "pathetic hormonal little whining schoolgirls"?
It's just a forum, calm down.

I think there was one such comment and it was most likely (I can't speak for that person but this is how I read it) more of a general comment about situations such as this where the big clubs seem to get the rub of the green.
I don't see the need for your post.
I reckon the headbutt did him the world of good! The head case, nugget, liability is doing alright isn't he lads?

Haven't seen it bro, don't need too cause it means Fark all to me. Whether he connected or not. Knowing what his record like though I reckon he would of connected. He doesn't muck around M'Villa. He's passionate, I like that in a player!Did you see it? I've looked at the incident so many times and I just can't spot it. Bad camera work though. Must have happened out of shot
Early days as yet Funky! We only have 2 points and have yet to win. I have to agree though and Dick is starting to show he can build a team. I just hope with there is a few more signings and Dick can break the back of the old guard who in my opinion have had too much power at Sunderland. Finally we have better players to play in their positions. The head case, nugget, liability is doing alright isn't he lads?

I'm now comfortable with Cattermole not playing where as last season I would have been worried if he was not in the team. Larsson needed to be ousted too. Hopefully with better players to learn from these two can get better. Catts can come good again but the fact that they are no longer guaranteed a game can only be a good thing.

Fair crack mate, he knocked gana off the ball yesterday and picked him straight back up. His does have sportsmanship in him. We are very very lucky to have him!But he doesn't have a dirty record mate. This has been my point when people decided he was a liability. Check his disciplinary. All his troubles come off the pitch. Makes you wonder what went on.

It's too early to say he's doing alright? He doing alright from what he's played which is what I'm on about. Bit rich to say I'm jumping the gun. You called him an idiot before even seeing the incident.![]()
If you get sent off for Headbutting someone you ARE an idiot. Why would I need to see it? I read the reports. Anyway you ARE too soon for told you so's. Get back to me when he's picked for England![]()

I just like the thought of him head butting a player before his PL debut!![]()

It's what you buggers do instead of a handshake isn't it mate
