Saintsweb views are underwhelmed/angry with a little sprinkling of give the bloke a chance....we're doomed, doomed, I tell you.
without a single admission from anyone that they had never heard of him until about two weeks ago. I just hope for a little bit of personality when he talks
Well we can hardly call him "that Argie bloke" can we.............? Can't we just call him Pepi (or Pepsi) as my predictive text wants to call him......
So having been complicit in helping get the last one out, the fans are now grumpy that we're taking on the best of the (seemingly) bad bunch that were available. The expression "can't win" comes to mind.
Tuchel and de Boer....nothing original. Not sure that anyone would really satisfy them....what I did notice was that the best response to Pellegrino was basically just neutral. Perhaps they have lost all hope ....some really don't like Les. Mind you, it is only an impression on a quick read....like all forums, the most negative posters are the ones you notice.
I post on there quite regularly and have done for many a year....it's entertaining to say the least. And immensely frustrating with some of the clowns that post. Unfortunately as soon as Tuchel was mentioned any other appointment was going to be underwhelming as you can see on there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Careful. That's what Theresa May wanted, and look at where that got us. I would love our fans to wake up with a sense of realism. I hope the guy arrives and enjoys living on the South Coast as much as Poch clearly did. I hope he plays bright exciting football and we can stop him going to a "big club" before his contract ends! While I still think the dismissal of Claude Puel was a poor decision, it's all about smoke and mirrors. At that horrible last game of the season there was an air of "well that was a crap season" which objectively was nonsense. If you re-read posts from before the season was underway, finishing top 10 and maybe having a decent cup run was the pinnacle of ambition for many of us. Contrast the end of season with the time when Poch got us knocked out of cups at the first opportunity and finished 8th before slipping the board a bung and setting off for a pay rise and we all said, "wow that was great".
Poch was out of work. He was OK. Maybe costs, or even worse. Maybe we respect the contracts drawn up between clubs and their managers. No, that would be stupid. Sorry,
Remember we have just spent millions paying off Claude. Totally unnecessary decision this in my view, but it's done and have to back the new man.
