underachieving squad IMO. If I had to choose a first 11 to work with I might be more attracted to Palace. Put aside my Saints loyalty, there's not much in it. In reality of course other factors will be crucial.
If it was down to 2/11 you'd say there had been a leak somewhere or it was pretty much guaranteed. At the moment it's probably just because lots of stories on it and some people putting some money on. I would say it doesn't really mean much more than what we already know..
The general opinion from people I talk to here, is Thomas Tuchel to Southampton! not saying they are itk, but that is the opinion.
He had apparently ruled himself out and Saints leaked to the Telegraph that he wasn't one of our final candidates. I'd love it to happen but I think that ship has sailed.
I agree . Who would come to us , with the possibility that new owners may want their own man in charge ?
I'd imagine the new owners will have signed off on it already. Sounds as though they are pretty much in place, if not very close to being complete. Otherwise, like Sunderland, you'd think we would hold off until we know what's going on.
Perfect scenario, We appoint a manager the team respect, The takeover gives Les and Ralph monies to strengthen without the loss of key personnel. We finish top4, and Liverpool are relegated. okay.. The latter was me dreaming.

The comments are hilarious "there are hundreds of managers available all over Europe". Err... Are they including me and Fats in that!?
Pellegrino now 1/5 in a lot of places. https://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/southampton/next-permanent-manager
Are the available managers playing a game of musical chairs....and we get the one left standing at the end?
