I agree with you there! Although what I find strange about the Vieira link is that there is not a single article in the public domain (that I am aware of) that has linked us to him. By your logic surely somebody somewhere would have “broke” the story causing it snowball around the tabloids and Sky Sports itself. I can’t understand the tumbling odds on him, I find it absolutely bizarre. Pellegrino, sure, he is heavily linked with us everywhere I look but where did the Vieira link and subsequent surge of cash placed on his succeeding Puel actually originate from?
