To be fair they have had 10 or 11 injuries, having to play Gray as a centre half as an example. No team in the premier league has the depth they have needed
Think the problem is that during this period, Postecoglou has refused to change their tactics and kept them as open and expansive as normal. A more pragmatic manager would tighten things up given the lack of defenders, even if it means compromising tactical principles for a short time.
Seriously, I think the Luton manager could be next if they’re serious about staying up. They’re actually worse than under Edwards and the players certainly aren’t busting a gut for him. There's something seriously wrong, at the club imo, made millions, appointed a L1 manager and just signed L1 players … … unless they start digging the foundations, for the ‘new ground’ very soon I’d be asking where the money’s gone.
Aye defo - just said on match thread they absolutely have relegation written all over them - total lack of fight last night and as comfortable a 2-0 as you'll see imo.
I like him mate, just seems risky to bring him in for a relegation battle … … unless they’re already building for L1 next season.
Mowbray already getting stick off West Brom fans, no style of play and more losses than coberan already are the main points I’m seeing
Sad if it's true, he deserves better treatment than that. West Brom might not be all that good anyway, but he was always probably on a hiding to nothing going back there now. Do well and it's Corberan who gets most of the credit for building the tram, don't do well and he'd cop the blame. Personally I think he made a mistake going back into management. I think he'd be better suited now working at an academy or as a mentor to a young coach, rather than take on all the stress of being the head man.
John, told me some bits re Blackburn, he was shafted from month 1, wages late for some staff, no bonuses as promised and no transfer kitty unless he had to off load. Different story, for a new start at Derby,
