I think a lot of that is down to these owners, Sport Republic. They seem like they are undoing all the stuff that Leibherr did to get Southampton back into the EPL. I'm not against using data in football, but it has to be used in context. These seem like it's data/AI driven decisions, but using the wrong data/AI
I’m sure RLB uses data/AI/etc but, as he showed in the playoffs, he’ll throw a swerve ball into a game which seems to contradict that. I doubt many people were screaming for Watson, Ballard and Roberts, in the playoff games, but all three played major parts … … even Hjelde in the final and most people wouldn’t have had him in the squad.
I really hope they get relegated this season. I get the feeling about them that we had from about 2013, that there's stuff going on behind the scenes dragging them lower and lower, making them a basket case. The longer they stay in the Premier, the harder it'll be to put right.

They were on the slide under Moyes in his last season. They might have finished 9th, but we're only 6 points better off that of Wolves who finished 14th. If they'd not had a decent first half of the campaign that's probably where they'd have finished.
Twitter reckons Southgate's being lined up to replace Amorim, they've given up on attacking football then?
Southgate was Ashworth's choice to replace Ten Hag last summer but Wilcox wanted Xavi instead. Southgate would actually be a good fit for Man U, he'd at least try and play a system that suits what players they have, rather than Amorim's stubbornness and ego. I get people don't like him, but I think he's a better manager than people give him credit for. I think he'd do a better job at Man U than Amorim or Ten Hag or a few other names that'll be chucked about because their in vogue. Whether he'd be successful or not is another question, more likely he's the one to stabilise them and start the needed rebuild.
Totally clueless. As a non Rangers fan, it's tragi-comic. And the longer it goes on the worse it gets. He's actually making Michael Beale seem good, that's how disastrous he is.
