The thing I love is people like Terry Butcher saying 'It has to be an English coach because... of things like communication' err didn't Scottish coaches like Ferguson, Daglish, Souness ect do pretty well in the English Prem communicating with English players in English? or how about Irish coaches like O'Neill? Mark Hughes and Tony Pulis seem to be doing quite well as well, as does Chris Coleman with Wales through the medium of English. How about linguists like Wenger who can speak multiple languages fluently?

But of course, it has to be an English coach to manage England - no one else could possibly be successful or understand the English!!!

Well, it should be a English guy but not for that bullshit reason <laugh>

It should be because it's the English national team. The same ruling (as loose as it is) should apply to managers as it does players. Find a great great great step-grandmother that's English before being allowed into the camp!

The only person I can think of who would be disqualified on the grounds of communication, would be Jamie Carragher. Only dyed in the wool Scousers can understand one ****ing word he says!
