Another thing, if his views on the disabled was inappropriate when he got sacked, then what has changed?

Everybody is entitled to their beliefs. Should he have kept them to himself? Absolutely.
Maybe they won't. But they want an Engish manager, that's been made clear by their appointment of a Fat Sam. I can't think of anyone more qualified to do the job.
