6 points, including 3 at WHU...my first away match in 30 years....I think

 

i think we might get 5 points. leaving us with 9 from 11. I genuinely cant see us winning an away game with tactics harry in charge.

 

Emphatically this.

If we thought so negatively about playing Southampton, West Ham and Villa then we're already down.

We need some leadership in midfield and to improve our away performances but I'm not writing off the season after 5 games and half the teams in this division will also be thinking they need to improve.

We're not special and we're not especially bad. If we go into every match thinking that we can get something then perhaps we can do so more often than not.

 

Your point about betting on football was what I was thinking. One game at a time gentlemen (and Beth). Although Soton have impressed, we usually (if my memory serves me well) do well at their place. The games that come after next week are then up for discussion.

 

Southampton, West Ham and Villa are all winable. By no means easy but definitely winable. No easy game in this league, one game at a time and graft for every point. Yesterday was a good point gained.

 

7 points easy from that lot and that's including not picking up anything from the last two.

 

Not looking good seeing that list but in football you never know 6 points out of them.

 

I wonder if there is any chance that Villa training ground virus might linger a while?
