Tbh he also thinks that is because we will lose to them. If we avoid defeat, then we get fourth in his opinion.
So this is going to happen then The predicted results Ive posted above are his... That ****er is even worse than Lawro the RS at predicting matches and thats saying soemthing... The predictions I've read so far have ranged from 70 to 76. That shows how bloody uncertain the thing is. I will agree with him about how crucial that match at the RS will be. Whoever lose will be on the backfoot and will have a mountain to climb.
Drab win against Spurs Pummel Liverpool sweet win against Villa Drab dwin with City (loss if Toure turns up in the mood) easy win against the Chavs (Mourinho to send off the referee for giving United a throw in)
Everyone thinks we will miss out to Liverpool. The worrying part is that you read Robbie Savage's column.
Why do people think we will miss out to a side who have been far far worse than us? Sure in recent weeks they have been better but why is it certain they will get 4th? Even in this patch of form they have been aided massively by refs and they are more susceptible in defence.
Nothings certain, its just an opinion, they have looked good in the last few games, and you have a ****ty run in.
Have they looked good? City aside they have lookes poor and pretty clueless. Outplayed at home by Blackburn Rovers in the cup and fortunate wins in the league. They looked impressive last season. Thry dont this season.
Last season the rat carried them single handedly, including Brenda. This season they have had to rely on the referees
I have and besides a couple of wonder goals its been nothing special. V city you were good but it was the peak of your performances. Its fair to say you were fortunate against Southampton and poor against Blackburn (cup game mind). Everton, spurs and palace were nothing special.
From two players who are usually lucky to hit the ball somewhere between the corner flags and lower than the stand roof
United have already got 1 point more than ****ing savage predicted for ALL the tough five matches. If (big IF) United play against the RS the way they played today, one point is easily achievable. Even 3 points are possible. Winning all the home matches (including City and arsenal) does not seem so fanciful.
I had Spurs down as our hardest game because of their speed and power, said at the time Chelsea would park up, City have gone, Pool could go any way. Todays result and performance have made me quite hopeful of 3rd or even 2nd.
True. Only one good match. But the match against the RS is less of a must win for United . It is a must NOT lose. It is now a massive MUST win for the RS though. LVG will be relishing the prospect of killing off another challenger. One can almost smell the FEAR on the RS board
I disagree, we're fine at the moment but a loss tonight and you may well be right. If we win it'll be one hell of a game v you lot.
I think Liverpool will be our toughest "meaningful" game. The other ones I have a good feeling about (provided he picks the right team).
