Regarding transfers : saw on clubcall which is usually a reliable source,,that Fulham could be entering into a player transfer. :to swop Zamora, for cash, and Carlton Cole from WHU. If this happened this rely would be scrapping the barrel. Zamora for Noble, plus to us 4/5 mil, then that would be the real deal.

There is a small list of people who I wish we would never sign. Heskey is on it, Stephen Ireland too, Joey Barton and Can't Control also makes an appearance. He is basically a worse version of Zamora and a slightly better Marcus Bent. Replacing Zamora with Cole is suicide.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if we could sign Stephen Ireland and somehow get him to play with the kind of promise he had at City, we'd be sorted! Really, really don't want Carlton Cole though. There are better Championship strikers.
Ireland unfortunately never looks like resurrecting that type of form though, now he just seems like a prima-donna.
Having bad vibes about some of the rumored players we are after, the majority of those listed are mediocre,with carlton Cole,far less than that.
