So good.... it is going to be New Queens Park. So will we become the New Queens Park Rangers...How cool is that!!!

Simple question how close to the design of the stadium is the picture...I suspect that it is a complete mock up.....and plans for the stadium have not got that advance yet...or am I wrong??

    Great news.

This seems to have been well thought out. A large area where development is going to happen on a very large scale.

Not only a new stadium for the Rs, but a new entertainment venue for West London. Hotels, shopping centres, etc.

Great transport links with the hub for Crossrail and HS2 (if built) and existing tube/surface lines.

Best of all, 24000 homes for lots of new QPR fans.

It's going to be a bit of a building site for a while but looks like when it's finished will be a fantastic area.

Are you hoping the supporters come in two by two? :)

Great news all round. I love that the artwork shows a stadium that's similar in feel to LR, with the connection between the fans and the pitch, no 'gentle, sweeping curves' on the corners, and all that. Wonder where P Q & R blocks will be?

Only thing that we need now is naming of the four stands. One surely needs to be The New Loft...

Great news! It looks really good. Unless our results stay at least about as good as they are and we don't drop Leagues, I think we will fill 40 K. Long term we may need room for more, so I hope expansion possibilties (upwards I shoulld think) will be taken into the plans for the stadiium. Would prefer to have seen Loftus Road expanded, but it seems this cannot be done. This looks a good alternative to me, especially being so close. Does anyone know exactly how far away the new stadium will be from Loftus Road?

I think that is pretty close, we've been working on this for some time, it's just been a question of where it would be.

This is amazing news, just what the club has been aiming for. TF on talksport also said planning training ground is nearly done - things are certainly looking up for us, and can't understand how there can be anything negative about this project.
