can I be the first to say that I think the new version of not606 at first glance is ****
it looks over complicated and ugly
I am not even sure if you can edit posts

It's a bit over-elaborate, I must say. I understand the need to keep it looking spiffy like many sites out there, but it's all too big and I preferred that we could see more stuff on one page like the last version. I have to see if I can change the overall view

 

and what are trophy points
are they the new rep

If you click on tools for one of your own posts there is an option to ban yourself. I've already had to phone Samaritans twice to get them to talk me out of using it......

 

Not convinced that it's better; but I'm sure it will have a less clunky feel to it once it has fully optimised.

Just another unnecessary change to keep the Marketing Department busy. We will get used to it of course until they will change it again and again....Don´t they understand that people do like consistency at least for the easy things in life.

Editing on an iPad is a bit odd - can't place the cursor which is a bit limiting

 

Also 'new member' is a bit disconcerting

 

Bit of a dogs dinner, BBC used to have a nice site and they did the same. Change for the sake of it.

That said I am a network admin and di this stuff all the time at work. Funny old world.
