I phoned the Dept of Work & Pensions last night. I was kept waiting for an hour, repeatedly hearing the same tune frequently interrupted by something like "Thank you for waiting, Please hold and someone will be with you shortly, or you can call back later. or alternatively you can visit our website WWW. bla bla bla . com" After hearing this about a hundred times (it seemed) I found myself interrupting the message with comments like "No I do not want to call back later" and "No I do not want to visit your ****ing web site". Anyway, suddenly I heard this voice getting louder, "hello, hello, hello, hello". I thought "Who the **** is that" and replied "Hello". Then realised it was the phone. I had fallen asleep. I apologised and admitted to falling asleep and that I had a vision of me as a skeleton in my chair with this repetitive voice coming out of the phone "Thank you for waiting, Please hold and someone will be with you shortly, or you can call back later. or alternatively you can visit our website WWW. bla bla bla . com" . Not sure she was amused but she was very helpful. I thought myself lucky that she hadn't hung up when I didn't reply. Maybe they find that a regular occurrence

Every night I play MS Sudoku. Just play the Hard option and have to complete in less than 10 minutes before I call it a day. Last night was a bit tense as I approached 5 mins as my record so far was 5mins 27 secs. But I kept my cool and completed in 5 mins 20 secs
