Makes more sense. Am a bit confused by this board...but if it works.....

John Williams and Les Reed can make the decisions on the day-to-day business of the club. John will have the final say.

Kruger and Lenhart will be called upon to provide expertise in their fields, for Kruger - motivation and maximising team performance... and for Lenhart - sports management, athlete management and sports sponsorship discussion. They have no actual 'power' as it were to make the decisions about the club on board level.

Will Katharina remain a non-executive director, or when the team is in place will she return to just being the owner? I'd presume this...

Yeah I get the structure okay, it's just a bit head-scratchy from a business/advisory perspective for me. Still, as I say, if it works......

I guess with present status quo there will be no due diligence ratification with Premier League required? New owners would need to be vetted.

Meant it for this thread, but posted in the KL one I was reading. Anyway...

Jim Lucas: "Night all. Two magazine deadlines in as many days this week. Couple of interesting interviews lined up. #saintsfc"

Just routine player chit-chat, or do you think he might have a word in one of the programmes (more likely Arsenal) with the new folk?

Southampton have announced the appointment of Gareth Rogers as Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Rogers has been the club's Chief Financial Officer since March 2011.

No John Williams then? Rogers seems pretty well qualified though, since he's been chief financial officer under the Cortese regime.

Wonder why it's only an interim appointment.

Apparently Saints want to look at a wide-range of candidates. Rogers in charge in the meantime.

Permanent appointment in the summer, but Liebherr recognised she is in no position to keep holding the role in the meantime.

Boy, it is almost as if every move she makes is purposefully the exact opposite of how Cortese would do it..
