I think Yngwie is too generic. He should have gotten himself in a decent band, and he could have been a peer to the likes of Richie Sambora. Instead he is usually demonstrating technical skill, without any music that really hits home. Views on this is divided I know.

If I want a rockguitar I'll go to Mascis for example.
