I actually thought Shelvey had his best game for us in years. Bar the quick free kick.

    It's not that.
If we play Carroll we have to have wingers.

Not really in a 4 4 2 that applies but the rest can still play off him,, he can still hold it up, Dubs and defenders can go long if needed and we'll have a threat on set pieces.

Big Sam will send out his team to wind up Shelvey to try and get him sent off. Expect Shelvey to get the rough treatment today.

Can easily see a red card in this game.

I don't like that kind of football it's really exactly what West brom would want.

Fraser for Joe is fine off the ball, but like I say I see what's happening off it

We all can see it but against a side like wba under FatSham and us playing Carroll we need wingers. If we play Gayle then definitely Joelinton is the man.

Probably that he's in a 4 4 2 with Carroll and Gayle up front

Tbh the fans seem to be asking for that formation and front 2, so if he does go for that I don't want to hear any criticism of Bruce afterwards from them.

There's always going to be set pieces and there's always going to be times when you have to go long from the back and from the keeper.

We will soon see, but I know it'll not be what I'd like to see anyway

We need to flood the midfield. It’s important we don’t lose.

TBF Jesus had more chance of success with crosses than Joelinton does in scoring.

I think that's as best as we could have put put tbh.

Let's see how Joelinton and Gayle link up together.

Shelvey and Hayden need to be disciplined and Lewis and Murphy need to get forward on the overlap when they can.

I can see us conceding early mind...

Really don't like that... No pace in defence or Midfield whatsoever.
