11th I think. Support acts included Commander Cody’s Lost Planet Airmen, Chas & Dave, the New Barbarians featuring Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards (they were **** iirc). Surprised I can remember that tbh.

At 50 yrs of age, you'd think he'd have grown out of it.

 

Remember chas n dave and Southside Johnny and the Astbury Dukes, do remember all the support acts being pretty **** tbf.
Allegedly by the 11th they weren't on speaking terms and their relationship was at breaking point.

 

Yeah, Page and Plant hated each other at one point I think.

Chas & Dave were brilliant I thought. And Commander Cody

 

It all stemmed from the fact non of the other band members attended the funeral of Plant's young son, he was obviously very hurt.

 

I remember reading that he blamed Jimmy Page for his son’s death because he thought his interest in black magic brought a curse on him? That could be bollocks though.

 

Not read that but wouldn't surprise me.
