The letter is out of order but.... I believe anyone that goes to another country, including the British, should know the very basics of the language in the country they are intending to live. Brits were one of the worst for it in Benidorm. I also find it rude, when you are in the company of people you work with, and they choose to speak in their language to one another, during a break. Obviously exceptions are made for tourists, as long has they know two words, please and thank you.
