Well done Hornette - when are you going to start training for next years one? As I mentioned earlier in this thread, there are the coastal walks in the Channel Islands and I plan to do both next year. I'm too late to register for this years Jersey one which is on Saturday and the Guernsey one was about 10 days ago. They always try to have the Jsy one the nearest Sat to midsummers day and the Gsy one 2 weeks before. I'm going to use the Gsy one (38.5 miles in 7 stages) as a warm-up for the Jsy one (48.1 in 13).
Thank you!! do you have a link for those barry? i know you sent it, but i can't remember where it was. If i can find trainers that won't give me blisters, i'm willing to go further though i may just stick to London next year, or Edinburgh, or maybe even Iceland!
