This has been a very strange and surreal 48 hours! I'm just nipping in before an early night to thank you all! I was thrilled with the time, considering there were loads of bottlenecks and some mega hills at the beginning to contend with! Most of the first 5 miles were uphill, and Edinburgh hills, i've discovered, are rather steep lol. Anyway, i'll fill you in when i get home tomorrow night, or Tuesday if i run out of steam . It's been incredible, amazing, knackering, and inspiring and you are all wonderful! See you tomorrow, sweet dreams mmmmwah!
thank you Leonardo! i'm home...just catch up on stuff and then i'll see what i can do about filling you in
Glad you are back Hornette, still in one piece I hope. Will catch up on your adventure tomorrow as it is past my bedtime. Night night.
Well done Hornette, I expect the aching legs and blisters like Everest are still not taking away any of the sense of well being you have for completing the challenge and the amazing experience you have been through...
morning w_y! Yep, actually i still can't believe we did it! lol...it was an incredible night..and i think what i'll do is write my next blog post about it, so i don't have to type it all out twice! lol.. Incredible experience though, and yep, definitely up for it again next year! Hold onto your hats! lol
Make sure you get into the London one, no hills and travel is much easier. We never had any trouble getting in, I was waiting on my PC on the morning entries opened and was straight in...
Glad your back okay Hon ,also glad you had some cancellations too, few hours footup time for you blisters!
I've checked the date of the London one and it's on my daughter's birthday! grrrr! Will have to negotiate that lol...
i'm back from work already, a good quick day ...my feet a horridly sore, but blisters don't stay sore for long so it's all good ...
