Tingling and numbness most of the time is not a problem , but it can be a warning of blood pressure probs , which was why I was a little concerned about our resident athlete!
thanks SLB! I'm trying to, though i still have a blister that won't go away lol...hopefully it'll be gone by Friday, otherwise i'm getting a needle to it! Funnily enough, last thursday i did the toe nail trimming thing, coz i painted them. It's that time of year after all! lol. And i hadn't done any exercise since i left school when John Major was PM .
Do you know - when I signed up for 606 I thought that aside from football there might be a little chat about this or that but do you know it never in my wildest dreams (nightmares?) occurred tome that toenail clippings would enter a discussion
Glad to hear our H is back to fighting fitness I could mention something about toe jam but on second thoughts.........
Btw, i just went to see the doc, just in case there was anything more than a strain on my foot, and she reckons i've torn some soft tissue. She thought at first i had a clot, that kinda surprised me! lol...but she's convinced it's just wear and tear, so i live to fight another day! yay Oh and her advice? Keep it up and keep the ice packs on...silly Doctor, i already knew that from my doctors on not606! lol
seriously though its good to get the all clear from a professional ! rather than enthusiastic amateurs !!!!! I`m glad you went!
Blackcurrants we picked last autumn and have been in the freezer - an earlier batch of jam was made in September but the kids snaffled most of it
thanks Norway Yep, Leonardo, hot and cold, even if the doc just said ice, coz to be honest, she was very young and i'm not sure she was that sure lol Blinkin' kids! lol. i haven't made jam since i was at school!
Cold for a muscle pull or sprain Heat for a deeper pain like arthritis etc hot and cold if you suspect a trapped nerve ,or if trying to release some tension llike a tight hamstring etc! Been reading up on some of it, as part of Hornettes ualong unofficial support crew along with W-Y
I get tight hamstrings from bending over my veggies too much. I always find that a hot soak with some Radox muscle relaxant does the trick. I do wonder if the hot soak would be enough. Am I just being sold something that creates bubbles and smells nice?
Norway, you spoil me! M Frenchie, i know some great hamstring exercises you could do to make that a bit easier
