    Big month ahead.

Would like to be near enough to safety before April. Some shocking fixtures that month.

7-8 points would be a great return. The Man City game may not be a write of give that they have to go to Barcelona on the Wednesday before we play them.

Faye's fine in a central back three, but in a 4-4-2 his lack of pace is too easily exposed (see Brighton's goal).

After City's recent slow down I wouldn't put it past us to get something Man City as well. I also hope we get West Ham moved if anything I see that one as the potential banana skin, they are in decent form and difficult to beat at the moment. Time will tell but it all looks well for an exciting month ahead. I think our Irish and Scotts lads will be sharing a bit of banter following the Euro draw earlier, which will only add to a relaxed and positive atmosphere around the club.

West Ham away is the one I fear most. It's the exact kind of game we always lose. Away at places like Stoke, Palace, West Ham where you know they'll bully us and we'll get nowt from the ref. I'd fancy us more to get something against Hunter than either of them two away.

Thing is, I would've said the same about yesterday.

Though I do agree, West Ham do seem to have the rub of the green at the Boleyn.

I don't think Cardiff are the same though. They just don't have that fear factor for teams going there. I bet everyone hates going to Upton Park, Britannia, etc.

Ninian Park was one of the worst for that, apparently fans could spit on opposition players they were that close. Suppose that's the disadvantage of getting a new stadium.

Cardiff haven't had a penalty all season.

I don't think I suggested anything like that at all. Just that Cardiff is one of those teams whom I'd expect to get the rub of the green against similar teams while at home.

    Would happily have that.

I'd say we're safe after that as well.

Man City will surely beat us comfortably, but like I said before, I don’t recall them beating us at home in recent years.

I remember us beating them 3-1 and 1-0 in the 80s, then the Prem years of a 2-2 and a 2-1 win.

The schooled Man City fans I know don’t like coming here and reference the ‘80s 1-0 defeat in particular.

You misunderstand me. You said you expected a hard time going to their ground, I was just pointing out that the refs haven't historically been kind to Cardiff.

I hope SB views the home game against Citeh as a free hit. If he sets up to try and contain them we'll get skinned. That might depend on how many pts we get from Newcastle and West Ham.

The other game to watch out for with that is the Man U game in April. If we were to win tomorrow and then beat Sunderland have had a man sent off again that's semi-final weekend. I can't imagine if they're still in the Champions League at that point them being happy at having a backlog building up due to a League game being postponed due to OUR involvement in the FA Cup rather than their own.

9 points still to play for in March. Win all 3 and we are safe. Unlikely but not impossible. Vital we at least beat WBA and a couple of draws would be nice.

I'm blaming dutch for the Newcastle loss................

Can see us losing 5 on the bounce. I'd be happy with that, as long as we don't lose at Wembley.

I originally saw 7 points from there, and had us drawing against Newcastle and losing yesterday.

From the 3 games left, 6 points would be fantastic. 4 would be more realistic.
