I am one who is not happy about the sacking of Laudrup, but its not Monk taking over that I am unhappy about, its the board who seem to think they do no wrong, that they are looking after the club first, yet couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery themselves of late, the lies after the meeting sunday, only to sack him by the Tuesday. I don't like that, this club is run by the fans, the board need to remember that, not to mention sort themselves out as from day one they have been making mistakes, yet they keep getting away with it, the Ki incident was a shocker on all levels of amateurism.
Monk will get my full support, and I hope he can get us playing again, but...... I have massive reservations, I no longer trust our board to be honest with us, the fans, nor do I trust them to be doing anything right behind the scenes. They done to Laudrup, what they did to Sousa, pushed him out with a lot of backstabbing, if they wanted him out sooner, then be man enough to do it there and then, the sneakiness behind it all is not good.
A couple of things here. You, like many others are not happy with Laudrup getting the sack. Fine, but you can't be naive enough to think that you could ever have trusted the board to be honest with us or anybody else.
We may have the monicker of 'a well run club', but Football is a nest of sneaky vipers and business men who have learned the best way to do things for themselves. I don't even believe we have the whole story behind Laudrup going, Monk's evolving position and the host of stories that we're hearing about Laudrup's attitude.
I suspect we'll never know, but don't be surprised by it.
At this point, all we can do is hope the board still has it's ability to appoint people that will benefit the team.

you would not know a legend if he was playing in your back garden.....
Couldn't disagree more. If only Laudrup cared and showed some passion for the club lke Monk does, maybe he would have sorted the mess out sooner.
