What about pre match meals ? When I was keen I'd be out stretching/warming up 3 hours before a game and then have beans/toast & poached eggs... Ended up being 2 pints and a burger down the pub just before setting off.
It all depended on when I got in night before/hours before how much sleep I’d had...if any 2 cups of coffee, 3 spliffs were mandatory regardless
Pre game for me was always deep heat in a bottle mixed with oil. These were my fave boots. Always had them tight fitting, nowt worse than your feet moving around in a boot. Bubbles are fine if you're gay.
