You opened your thread with the starting line up from the mk dons game without pointing out that Januzaj played 80 minutes of game.

Should he be shipped out under "the mk dons effect"?

By the way isn't Hernandez only out on loan?

I know you didn't. But the OP also says "if you're ****e you can **** off"

And those two aren't, so they haven't.

Hernandez is on loan yes, but he won't be coming back so may as well have left.

If on the night more high profile players from Utd had taken part in the humiliating defeat would they have got "the mk dons effect" or would they have been forgiven and excused Ruff?

Is the point really sailing over your head that much?

van Gaal gave a bunch of players an opportunity to show him what they could do early in his first season as manager in a cup tie. The ones that failed are no longer here.

It's unfortunate I had to spell that out.

It was billed as much at the time too. Van gaal had stated he would give every player an opportunity to show they want to be here.

True, but also if we'd paid Pogba a bit more he'd still be here. And picking up £70k a week at the age of 21 doesn't seem to have killed his ambition one bit.

Some players just don't have the ability or mental strength to make it at the top, wages or not.
