Actually Mike if it hadn't been for their keeper making a couple of top drawer saves we could have won the game and nobody could have probably complained apart from Warnock off course :emoticon-0105-wink:

Got to say, I USED to intensely dislike the man but as I've got older, I have mellowed a bit which has let me see past the front, and once you do, I think he is actually a pretty decent bloke. Sure he's a wind up merchant and can be irritating sometimes but it's pretty clear that he does it with his tongue very firmly in his cheek. Not sure why he is so hated really ...

Its not a 'lot' as you well know.. its a few, and you are definitely one of a few.. you usually quote OTIB to back you up but as someone noted on there, the 'Warnock lovers' have been very quiet this last 2 days.. Wonder why?

Anybody know what was wrong with the guy who got injured in the first half and then miraculously recovered ?

And off topic I see the Arena plans are now passed. I think I heard somewhere that the plan including special deals with the various Park and Rides. So where's ours ??

    That is highly conjectural.

Would I watch a team that played like Rotherham? The answer is a no.

I base that on my ceasing to watch Bristol City under the leadership of Russell Osman ( the long ball football was anathema), but also being able to enjoy watching BCFC under Terry Cooper in the fourth division.

I like quality football like most people, we all want that surely? I hate long ball, I'm also not a big fan of ticky tacky football if it's not going anywhere.
For me the ultimate would be to have players who can mix it around according to team playing against and conditions.

No I'm not a fan of his style of football but I am a fan of getting results and he knows how to get them......As he says, he loves the level of the championship.
So not a bad manager to get you up and then move on.......I'd like to have success for a few years and then bring a manager to get us playing attractive football..
Hope that answers your question (If there was one!!)

The quality of the game was poor. Interesting once, not worth watching twice, nothing to see, children play with more flair and technique. A trait of Warnock style football through the years.

Get up where? The Premiership? Are there not other means of getting results than lamping the ball back to front?

Yes the Premiership, we have tried different means since 1976 so you do what ever is needed. And then we can worry about the pretty stuff when we are £100mil better off and playing in the top flight........it's not rocket science just common sense.....You think the likes of Villa & co are going to be worried about playing pretty stuff next season once they're relegated? Can't remember QPR moaning when he took them up!

As it is, if you go back a page or two you will see that I'm quite happy with LJ and willing to give him a chance and was only commenting that I quite like Warnock and knows how to get results......before he was appointed Rotherham were doomed...says it all!

Yes common sense indicates that there are other coaches out there.

Warnock and knows how to get results ... And has been associated with poor football and failure.

They made a sterling signing in getting NW on board as their manager, they were doomed prior to his arrival.
I wish some our fans can apreciate what he has down for them.
They are going to stay up,thanks to him.
There will not be one millers fan complaining about that.

So you are fawning all over a rival manager who has gotten his team out of the relegation zone ( although still behind us ) so you must really love our manager at the moment who has achieved the same

And Success! Lots of managers whom like to play so say good football are associated with failure......wasn't SOD deemed to like playing good football?

They will all be crowing about Darrell Clarke next, what a great manager he is and we should be looking at signing him up, don't people realise Lee Johnson has taken us out of the relegation zone and we are above the ****er Warnock in the league.

I like Lee he is one of our own and is doing all right with limited resources, as I have said previously, he is growing in stature with me, slowly but surely, stuff Warnock and the "gashead" Dopey...<grr>
