Excellent thread ...Informative and at least 350% accurate ..apart from excluding the gazelle like Mr Mitro from the collective MotM award I have a feeling JPF was humiliatingly spurned by said Serb during a late night, depraved and degrading work experience assignment down in the seedier and more degenerate parts of the dockyards ..Hell hath no fury like a JPF scorned As we are guaranteed a win of substantial proportions ..due to the sole fact that JPF is doing this thread 1-3 to Mitro the Magnificent (each goal scored by the superb svelte Serb will be an icy dagger of shame and humiliation plunged deep into JPF's withered soul ....win win for everyone really)
I hope that things turn around and it's a 0-2 smash and grab. That Terry calls the referee "a black bastard" even though he isn't and Wossisname for Chelsea gets send off for being kicked by Tiote. I just don't like the ethos of their players and of their previous manager. A shame as I used to admire that club in the 70s with the likes of Osgood and Hutchinson.
We better not ****ing sit back in a 5-4-1 again. We should play to our strengths. I'd play -----------------Mitro-------------- Sissoko------------------Townsend -------Saviet--Tiote--Shelvey----------- Aarons--Colo---Saylor--Janmaat- ----------------Elliot-------------------- Townsend and Sissoko can swap wings at times to offer different sorts of attacks, but if we're going to play the 3 CM's to try and keep possession more often, we'll need Sissoko and Townsend to get up there as often as possible, and I'd like to see our wingers cutting in and running at a questionable Chelsea defence, with Aarons and Janmaat offering a crossing option on the overlap. We need to get players up in support of Mitro, because I'll be pissed if we just lump balls for Mitro to knock on to no one. Sissoko and Townsend need to be up there making runs, taking players on. This is a decent opportunity, and I don't want to throw it away at another poor attempt of "containing" the opposition, by sitting back and not being able to string 3 passes together. This does mean bringing on another possession player and sacrificing flair, but at least we'll be able to f*cking play footbal. I don't see us scoring more than 1 goal with that team, but it will be the best chance of seeing the game out and claiming at least a point.
We are going to get our backdoors kicked in to day. A cheeky 4-0, our Waffen SS midfield enforcer to get sent off.
Our best player and top goal scorer not in the team? Hahahah!! But play the Lazyboy recliner instead?
Because if we play like we usually do away from home, Wijnaldum is useless. It's not that Wijnal has been poor away from home, it's that we don't play with the same freedom away, and that makes Wijnaldum a passenger most of the game.
Yet the Lazyboy recliner has his feet up both home and away games! We should be playing to Gini's strengths
-----------------Mitro-------------- Sissoko------------------Townsend -------Gini--Tiote--Shelvey----------- Aarons--Colo---Saylor--Janmaat- ----------------Elliot-------------------- Is our line up
Also I just copied and pasted your line up and changed Saviet for Gini so may not be their actual positions!
Mitrovic is playing as left back in the changing room, where he will be of most threat to the oppositions goal...
I can't believe Hiddink is playing that strong a team before the CL game. It really isn't fair at all!
